Driving child and youth wellbeing
Response Ability aims to improve mental health outcomes for all Australians, through a focus on mental health promotion, prevention and early intervention, and suicide prevention in children and young people.
CHILD is an evidence-based framework that summarises the practical strategies that can be used to support children’s optimal social and emotional development and wellbeing.
Response Ability promotes health and wellbeing concepts which contribute to positive health and learning outcomes for all children.
We need to maintain our own wellbeing in order to work effectively with children and young people and to provide support to the people around us.
The Response Ability teaching and learning materials include films, activities and student handouts.
